Dave DeMann

Responsibilities
Dave’s primary responsibilities include safety director, engineering department manager, facilitating design-build, estimation, scheduling, quality control, and executive management. He has a proven track record of delivering successful on-schedule and on-budget results. Dave is responsible for a multimillion-dollar commercial/industrial HVAC portfolio specializing in the pharmaceutical and food industries.

As a member of the Van Dyken Mechanical, Inc. team since 1992, Dave brings his clients both field and management experience. Dave possesses a proven track record of completing both new constructions as well as maintaining client operations in high-level facilities during the construction process. Throughout his career, he has managed a wide variety of complex projects ranging in costs from daily maintenance support work to $20+ million projects.

Executive Vice President

Joe VanDenBerg

Responsibilities
Joe serves as the Sales and Marketing Manager for Van Dyken Mechanical, Inc. Joe’s primary responsibilities include overseeing the estimation group and the Service and Fast Track departments. He maintains our sales forecast and job planning processes, as well as leading the marketing group. Joe sets and monitors company goals while mentoring the account representatives and service manager.

Joe has been working in the HVAC industry since 1990, having spent 10 years as a field installer before transitioning into project management, estimating, and sales in 2000. Joe has sold and managed projects as large as $12 million and fast track projects as small as $1K.

Kevin Mersman

Responsibilities
Kevin is responsible for planning, monitoring, and executing the design and engineering of air conditioning and ventilation systems. Kevin also provides interpretation of design and application of construction methods.

Chad oversees work order supervision, estimating, and scheduling for industrial, food-grade, and pharmaceutical projects. He provides experienced guidance to both employees and subcontractors, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Experience
Chad brings decades of hands-on experience as an installer, welder, foreman, and project supervisor, with expertise in the fabrication and installation of HVAC sheet metal, piping, welding, and GMP-related projects. He joined Van Dyken Mechanical, Inc. in 1995 and has focused on pharmaceutical and industrial client facilities since 2002. His extensive field experience gives him a strong ability to navigate complex regulations, detailed specifications, and the unique demands of GMP environments and specialized HVAC/process systems.

Senior Project Manager

Jeff Dickman

Responsibilities
Jeff manages and coordinates construction projects, overseeing teams, schedules, and resources to ensure efficient and timely completion. He works closely with project supervisors, contractors, and clients while supporting material planning, equipment coordination, and budgeting. Jeff also helps ensure projects meet quality standards, safety requirements, and overall project goals.

Jeff has extensive experience in the fabrication and installation of HVAC systems, including sheet metal, piping, welding, and GMP projects. His background includes roles as an installer, welder, foreman, and project supervisor. In 2017, he transitioned into a Project Manager role and in 2024 advanced to his current role as a Senior Project Manager.

Mitch Raible

Responsibilities
Mitch’s primary responsibilities include equipment procurement, estimating, scheduling, and full project management. He has a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, managing both multimillion-dollar commercial HVAC projects and smaller-scale work. Mitch specializes in office and industrial facilities, snowmelt systems, and tailoring solutions to meet each client’s specific project needs.

Mitch has been with Van Dyken Mechanical, Inc. since 1987, bringing extensive field and management experience to his clients. He has a proven track record of completing both new construction and renovation projects on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction. Throughout his career, Mitch has installed, supervised, and managed a wide range of projects, earning the trust of many long-standing, repeat clients.

Mitch enjoys spending time with his family and watching football. In his free time, he also enjoys playing guitar, golfing, disc golf, shooting sporting clays, and brewing his own beer.

Mike serves as Lead Estimator for Van Dyken Mechanical, Inc.

Mike worked for Van Dyken Mechanical as a field installer for 2 years before transitioning into the estimating department at the beginning of 2022.

Project Engineer

Jace DeMann

Responsibilities
Jace supports the successful delivery of commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects by coordinating engineering, project management, and field operations. His responsibilities include managing submittals, RFIs, project documentation, equipment procurement, and supporting HVAC system design and construction efforts.

Education
Jace earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Hope College, where he was a four-year member of the baseball program. He has also passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam, demonstrating his commitment to professional development and technical excellence.

Experience
Prior to joining Van Dyken Mechanical full-time, Jace worked as a Field Worker during summer and academic breaks in both pipefitting and sheet metal. This experience provided valuable hands-on exposure to commercial HVAC installation, jobsite operations, and mechanical construction practices.

Fun Fact
Outside of work, Jace enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time outdoors with family and friends. His experience as a collegiate athlete helped develop the teamwork, discipline, and work ethic he brings to every project.

Sheryl Maksymowski

Responsibilities
Sheryl serves as a central point of coordination between customers and field technicians, managing service requests, creating scheduling, and optimizing routes to support timely repairs and efficient repairs.

Sheryl brings several years of dispatching experience, including seven years as a Hi-Lo service dispatcher. She has been with Van Dyken Mechanical since 2022 and supports operations by coordinating HVAC service technicians.

Sheryl enjoys spending time with her family, including her two children and two grandsons. She has been married to her husband for over four decades and enjoys time at the cabin in the woods that she helped build with her family. Responsibilities
Peter is a Project Service Coordinator supporting service operations at Van Dyken Mechanical. He focuses on estimating service repairs and small installation projects while coordinating job setup, technician support, and the timely completion of work through effective management of parts, warranties, contractors, and equipment. He also assists with dispatch operations to support efficiency and customer satisfaction.
